"Moving onto Uncle Sam's plantation" (A personal account)
Six years ago I wrote a book called "Uncle Sam's Plantation," my own story of what I saw living inside the welfare state and my own transformation out of it.
I choose personal responsibility and freedom. Because if I cannot work for what I have- I cannot appreciate what I have got thus I will never grow and put value on what I have. If I cannot grow- I cannot laugh at someone's wig or let them laugh at me. I will just find ways to get my check and go through life like a zombie with no meaning or understanding. Good article George. Goes for a lot of people in all differant scenarios. Not all but most.
